Shirley Jones was filming her first 
major motion picture OKLAHOMA! when she turned 21. 
Fortunately,  she was allowed to travel home for a 
celebration in her home town of Smithton. Pa. 

 March 31st 1955, 
Shirley surrounded by her Mom and Dad, best friends and relatives. 
And that's her grandmother in the far upper left-hand corner.
